ONLINE Workshop
This 4-week workshop is designed to bridge the health gap that women often face when navigating menopause. While every woman goes through it eventually, very few doctors are trained to guide us. The truth is, we have more power over our health than we realize, and I’m here to help you RECLAIM THAT POWER!

EACH WEEK WE FOCUS ON A DIFFERENT SYSTEM:
WEEK ONE - BODY
Hormonal shifts lead to changes in metabolism, weight, temperature,
and sleep patterns.
WEEK THREE - HEART
Emotional shifts may cause
anxiety, stress, palpitations, and fluctuating feelings of confidence.
WEEK TWO - MIND
Cognitive changes can include
brain fog, memory lapses,
and mood swings.
WEEK FOUR - LIBIDO
Decrease in estrogen can affect desire, arousal, vaginal dryness, and overall sexual health.

Four 60-minute online group sessions led by Karen Baskett, a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Integrative Medicine Specialist and hot-flash SURVIVOR

MY STORY
For most of my life I was an athlete and dancer who powered through grueling workouts, endless injuries, and long nights of intense practices and rehearsals never paying attention to the toll it was taking on my body and mind. Even though I was incredibly active, I had no real connection with my body—I wasn’t listening to the signals it was sending, especially when it desperately needed rest.

Everything changed after a traumatic divorce in 2017. Suddenly, my body started sending messages I couldn’t ignore. Within weeks of filing my periods stopped, I began experiencing intense hot flashes and night sweats, autoimmune issues like asthma and psoriasis flared up, and I gained weight. My doctors told me my labs were "normal and within range" and I had nothing to be concerned about.

Fast forward to 2024, I am four years past menopause and I’m healthier than I’ve ever been. Here’s how I did it!

I worked with a somatic therapist who helped me process the emotions stored in my body, preventing them from turning into physical illness.

During the pandemic, I earned my master's degree in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine, learning how to truly understand the messages my body was sending. With the guidance of my own Ayurvedic wellness coach I eliminated my autoimmune conditions that were the root cause for my intense symptoms.

I currently live in Belize to embrace peace and heal near the sea with a slower lifestyle surrounded by the fruits, herbs, and spices essential to Ayurveda that are abundant in the tropics.
Now my mission is to share this knowledge with as many women as possible through one-on-one coaching, online and in-person group events, and tropical wellness retreats inspiring others to listen to their bodies and take action.
